Mexico City 2006
This trip to Mexico is infamous so if you have already heard the story then, enjoy! IF not here is a little background stolen from Rons page @ www.rongarza.com:
where to begin. We woke up a little late, got a taxi and 5 of us went to the Teotihuacan to do some blood letting on top of the temple of the sun where they sacrificed people it is 50 miles outside of the city and was quite along drive out there so we tried to make the best of it and marked our faces inside the taxi on the way out there ( yes Everyone cut their faces except me who we punched out my flats to 00). we cut Jon´s face and let him bleed for a bit. then it was Ron's turn. After Ron it was Steve's face and then my flats and Miguel's face after that. by that time as I'm sure you can imagine people were freaking out watching us get cut and cut each other. We told a few people to turn off there video cameras and no pictures , but i can only imagine the spectacle we were. Taking this into account, it wasn't long for the police to climb up to the top of the pyramid and arrest us.. NO SHIT.. arrested we were for bleeding on top of the temple that is known for rituals sacrifices. We were interrogated had to explain ourselves NUMEROUS times and i totally thought i was going to be broke having to pay off these people to not go to jail.. IN MEXICO!! I wasn't really into it. After we all get escorted OFF the pyramid and into the back of a truck and taken to a couple of stations, we were eventually let go, explained the "real" story of what went on there during the rituals. They explained the rituals that happened there was mainly human sacrifice, and even though what we did didn't go to those extremes, by the reasoning we used to do what we did, if someone else wanted to do the ancient rituals and cut someones head off there,, it wouldn't be cool either. So they kicked us out of Teotihuacan, and watched us leave and we couldn't go back. i think without the pictures of exactly HOW MUCH blood we spilled on the temple one cannot truly realize how much shit we were in with the Mexico police. All in all it was an AMAZING day.
